Once in a lifetime opportunity :)

Here's a compilation of charities and institutions we like, if you would take a suggestion.

If you're one of those that are thinking, hey, include me in the list, I could use a donation; I'll give you yet another idea: donate blood. It's FREE and it saves lives! I highly recommend.

Also, most of the places have a 100% tax deductible donation policy.

Anyway, I decided to put this list together to make it easier for those who prefer donating online, for here I can include the links.

So many people have so much less than we do.
That's why I feel honored to use this opportunity to make this call.

Browse,
get inspired,
and share the love.

Blood Donation

Want to give, but have no money to spare?
This is probably the single most important donation you can do and it doesn't cost a dime.

Donate blood! It saves lives.

Here's the website with all the info and the NJ Blood Drive schedule:

Or, you can call them: questions about donating blood:

Tibet

Access the sites and, if you don't know it already, get to learn their touching history.

I'm a supporter of Tibetan freedom, a fan of the Dalai Lama, and a Blue Book member.

http://www.tibetfund.org

Because the Dalai Lama does not preach the liberation from Chinese rule but only its "meaningful autonomy", here's the site of the people who work in solidarity with the Tibetan people in their struggle for freedom and independence:

Both take donations.

If you feel moved, get involved.

Animal rescue in Upstate NY

We're animal lovers.
This and any animal rescue institution has all my respect and admiration for their work.

If you're going to own a pet, please take in consideration that it's a life commitment before doing it.

This rescue center has been recommended by our dear friend Megan, who (un)fortunately won't be with us at our party because she had to attend a previously scheduled cruise... maybe that's why people schedule weddings a year before hand?
Thanks for everything, Meg!
